Saguaro families packed our school for conferences! It was great to see so many families taking a role in the success for their child. Mrs. Pavlicko and Mrs. Morris-Wilkey did a FABULOUS job setting up this year’s Enchanted Forest book fair. Thank you to the students and their families for supporting Saguaro and for making it a priority to put books in the hands of our students.

Thank you to all the families that showed up to support our first Boo Bash sponsored by Peter Piper Pizza. It was exciting to see all the students, families and staff dressed up and enjoying the evening. Remember that your support helps make our school great!

On October 31, we held our first CELEBRATION of the year. We celebrated Good Character, Kindness and recognizing students who have Amazing Attendance. Our theme was an Enchanted Forest. Students dressed as fairies, princes or princesses, forest creatures, and other forest attire. The celebrations took place in the learning boulevard appropriate for each class.

We hope that Saguaro families and the community will join us for our fourth annual Saguaro Salutes Veteran’s Day Parade on Friday, November 9, 2018. If you are a veteran or have a family member who is a veteran, please contact the Saguaro office to participate in our parade, talk to students about their service, and/ or be recognized at our event. It is our hope to see the sidewalks lined with people as the students and veterans walk. The parade will take place from 9:15-10:45 am.

For current events and updates follow us on Facebook www.facebook.com/SaguaroElementaryCG/. We love showing families and the community the great things that are happening at Saguaro!
